Texas Motor Speedway is not directly served by regular public transport, which is why most fans choose to drive, use rideshare services, or stay at nearby campgrounds. That said, it is still possible to reach the speedway without a car by combining long-distance transport with local options.
Bus
Long-distance coach operators such as Greyhound or FlixBus run regular services to the Fort Worth area. Most routes arrive at Fort Worth Central Station or downtown terminals, located around 25–30 minutes by car from the Speedway. From there, fans typically continue by taxi, Uber/Lyft, or a rental car.
Fort Worth is well connected by bus to major cities across Texas and neighbouring states, making it one of the more accessible destinations for long-distance coach travel in the region.
Local public buses operate throughout Fort Worth and surrounding communities, but there is no regular route serving the Texas Motor Speedway directly. The final part of the journey, therefore needs to be completed by rideshare or taxi.
Train
Amtrak provides passenger rail service to Fort Worth Central Station via the Texas Eagle route. From the station, onward travel to the speedway requires a rental car, taxi, or rideshare. There is currently no rail connection that goes directly to Texas Motor Speedway.
For fans travelling from outside the region or from farther away within Texas, several options are available:
